What does being in hypnosis feel like?

The experience can be different for every person. Some people feel a floating sensation, some do not.

Others may feel sleepy, some do not. Most people feel relaxed and at ease.

It’s important to know that how you feel isn’t an indicator of how effective it is.

Regardless of what it feels like — it’s working.

Can I get “stuck” in hypnosis?

No! You have complete control the whole time.

You can talk, move your body, get a tissue, even get up and leave if you choose to.

In case that our call (in an online session) gets disconnected, you may drift into sleep if you’re really relaxed, but eventually, you’ll notice that you’re not hearing my voice and open your eyes again.

Besides, we go in and out of hypnotic trance states all the time.

For example, when we watch a movie with complete attention and forget everything around us, or when we do everyday things without thinking much about it, as if on autopilot, and many more.

What if I think I already know the reasons behind my issue?

Often we know exactly where our behavior and thinking patterns come from, but unfortunately this knowledge on a rational level is not always sufficient to break out of these patterns and change them.

What makes hypnosis amazing is that even if you think you know the reason, you see it in an entirely new way.

That’s what allows you to change the meaning and, ultimately, change your beliefs.

And for many clients, they go back to scenes that are completely different from what they expected.

Just relax and trust that your subconscious mind will show you exactly what you need to see.

What if I go back to scenes that are painful or scary?

It’s important to remember that you are not reliving a scene you are going back to, you are simply reviewing it.

You are safe, and I will guide you and create a safe space for you to express your emotions and heal — you’ll be OK.

How does the hypnosis session work?

You state your presenting problem and what you want to achieve in the session.

I guide you through a hypnotic induction to go deeper and then back to the root of your issue.

Together, we clear up these profound events, or rather the deep feelings and blockages related to these experiences, and in the last step we transform your beliefs and internalize your desired outcome.

What is the coaching for?

Great question!

I wasn't even sure if I should call it coaching because it is a combination of (sex) education, shorter hypnosis interventions and practicing new skills and techniques that will help you support yourself and your loved ones even better.

So, while the longer hypnosis session focuses on your past, the coaching sessions are centered around your present and future.

Does it work online?

Yes, it does.

In some cases, even better.

Some people feel a sense of security within their home and appreciate the logistics and time convenience.

Ultimately, it's more a matter of preference.

Both modalities (online and in person) work just fine.

Since I live in Guatemala and also have international clients, I work much more online than in person.

And the results are astonishing.

When will I start to see changes?

There are 3 types of changes through hypnosis – each person is different:

Immediate change : You feel a massive change right away – immediate physical changes, changes in your thoughts and in your behavior right in the session.

Incremental change : You notice consistent changes every day or over time.

Retroactive change : You don't see the changes right away, but one day you suddenly look back and see all that has changed in your life. In fact, it's often the people around us who notice a change in us before we do.
